Elections - proxy votes

You are welcome to apply for a proxy application form if you are unable to go to your Polling Station on Election Day.

A proxy is someone who will go to the polling station and vote with your authority on your behalf.

You can apply to vote by proxy by filling out an application form. You can download the form from the following address: http://www.aboutmyvote.co.uk/Howtovote/ alternatively you can pick up an application form at any of our CityInfo Offices or contact the Electoral Services Section to request a form.

The deadline for receipt of proxy applications is 6 working days before an election.

If the request is due to 'medial emergency' this deadline is extended to 5.00 pm on the day of the election.
