The services the Council delivers are developed in line with the needs of the local community, which are identified by the City of Durham District Community Plan.
The Corporate Performance Plan supports the Community Plan and is reviewed every year to ensure a clear strategic direction for the organisation.
This process enables the prioritisation of services, the allocation of resources and the performance management of service delivery year on year. The vision and strategic aims within these 2 key documents are supported and complimented by a range of corporate strategies and policies.
