Teams Lining Up for swimathon charity event

Teams are stepping up to the challenge of the Charity
Swimathon, to be staged at Freeman's Quay on the 22nd and
23rd of November. The event involves teams of 4 - 6
people swimming as many lengths as they can in 30
minutes, while raising money for good causes at the same
time. Money raised will be split equally between Treetops
Children's Ward (University Hospital Durham) St
Cuthbert's Hospice, The Mayor's Charity (County Durham
Society for the Blind and Partially Sighted), and the
charity chosen by the participating team. The event is a
partnership between the City of Durham and The Rotary
Club is Durham and promises to be great fun for all the
family. Swimmers must be able to swim 25. To take part
