Welcome to the City of Durham Business Services
Durham comprises the splendour and magnificence of a World Heritage site, quiet medieval streets and historic events, with the excellent modern amenities that you would associate with a cosmopolitan city.
Couple with this a dedicated, innovative Council, whose main aim is to help you succeed by providing the widest possible range of assistance available and you'll see why Durham has the advantage when providing opportunities for new and existing business.
The Council encourages Durham City businesses, whatever their size, to actively seek new business opportunities. To help achieve this the Economic Development Unit works in partnership with a number of other organisations such as the County Durham Development Company, the North East Chamber of Commerce, Business Link, Durham Business Club and most significantly, the City of Durham and Chester le Street Enterprise Agency (CDC) to provide the best possible assistance.
